What Type of Ring???

I need some help. My friend's soon to be fiance has come to me to help him pick out a ring. my friend likes unique jewelry, not weird but pretty unique. I'm going to post a few different options and if you can tell me which ones you like and if there's something I haven't thought of let me know. I don't feel very qualified to be helping him so any input would be much appreciated.

Also he wants to go pick the ring out this next week so if you have a comment make it quick:)

Diamond shape: Round, Marquise, Emerald, Princess, Pear, Oval, Heart, Baguette and Trillion.

White gold vs. Gold

Engagement band or single band

Design of diamonds on the the sides or a single diamond
Tension, prongs or bezel

I know there's a whole lot more to rings than what I'm posting so if there's anything you've seen that you've liked I'd really appreciate hearing about it:)

Click on the picture to see it better and tell me which rings you like and why. If you have link for a ring you like please put in the comment.
Thanks!!!

Since I'm the expert on diamonds, Please listen as I know it all to well. Yes, yes, it must be white gold. The diamond Big, Big, Big!!!
if she is little and Little, Little, Little if she iss big. Has he ever thought of a black diamond. Now that might be cool. Maybe a heart shaped with red rubies around it. Do you get the Picture??? Send him on up. I'll do a job on him.

Okay. I don't know much about rings. I like both color of rings. I like the round shape in the diamond, two bands, and little more then just the diamond in the middle. Now after saying all this I think the ring on the bottom left is nice. Good luck

what's your email (mine is sunniemerrill@yahoo.com) and i'll email you some pics? i say white gold and serria west had the best "unique" type rings that i saw anywhere when i was looking. plus if you find a style you like you can have them make it for you and it doesn't cost any more than just straight up buying a ring that was already made.

Does she like very embellished jewelry or minimalist? I personally like minimal, but I know a lot of girls like otherwise. Here are some I've found that are a little different. (I really liked the Tacori and Belenky sites)

I say white gold and that ring on the bottom left of the picture is awesome. Of course I have weird tastes in rings.

If the ring has a separate wedding band from the engagement band then I like it to look symmetrical when they are put together which means you have to have one that will be able to insert into the other!

Anyway, have fun helping pick out rings! Sounds exciting!

For my “upgrade” ring someday I always thought it would be cool to get an emerald cut rose gold solitaire. I would probably have it set on prongs. It’s a classic ring but the rose gold adds the uniqueness she is looking for.

Okay, so I say simple...I really like the ring on the bottom left, then again I like the one on the first row, second one in. AND also the one kinda like the first row one, only with round diamonds instead of square. Its on the second row? sorta... What can I say? Its gonna be hard to pick JUST ONE when it gets to be my turn :) Who is it you're helping? You can just call and tell me if you want :) Love you!

Maybe he could just buy a cheap one at walmart and then after the proposal have her help him pick it out.

I like the idea of putting several diamonds together to make a bigger on. Two of my friends have rings like that and they are very unique.
But, I kind of agree with anonymous there but I don't know your friend so I don't know how picky she is. Good luck to him
