Busy Saturday

Saturdays around our house have been pretty busy.  We have two soccer games and two baseball games every Saturday.  We've been fairly lucky that too many games haven't over lapped.  When they have overlapped it's a bit crazy shuttling here and there and missing games.  But when they don't overlap it also makes a long Saturday because the games are spread out through the day.  Three weekends ago it was especially busy when we had to fit in a Tae Kwon Do belt test on top of the games.  We started with Jared's soccer (Soccer is one of Jared's favorite sports.  When he plays with the family he's really aggressive.  He tends to play back a little more during games but he is one of the better hustlers.  He's so sweaty when he's done):

Jared's game was close to a ribfest going on so we had lunch there.  The boys loved the ribs:

XRT had a booth at Ribfest, that's where our neighbor "Aunt Terri" works, so we snapped a quick photo

And then we were off to Spencer's soccer game.  Below is Miles on the drive to Spencer's soccer.  We thought he was sleeping but when I rolled up his window he immediately popped up and rolled it back down.  He just liked the feel of the air:)

And lastly we had Jared's Tae Kwon Do belt test from orange to green.  He was really nervous.  But he did AWESOME!  He's never broken the board on the first try and this time he did.  He was so excited and when he brought me his board he whispered with the biggest grin on his face, "I did it my first time mom!"  Way to go bud!

We left our home at 8:30 that morning and got home just after 6:30.  What. A. Day! Phew!  I wonder what it's going to be like when we have three kids in sports...
